"In a unique and fascinating way, The Unforced Rhythms of Grace and Gratitude does more than share Mike’s story.  It makes us reflect on our own story.  It causes us to ask, Who are the people that have made a difference in our life.  What legacy am I creating?”

About
My Story

MICHAEL WICKAM, in his first book, explores through his unique brand of storytelling, his 50-year journey to living a life of gratitude.

Raised by his single mother and grandparents in a small northern Illinois town, the author introduces us to those men and women that lifted, challenged, and motivated him to become a first-generation college graduate and achieve success in high-level corporate positions with some of America’s largest companies.

Filled with invigorating short stories of the ordinary and extraordinary, the author takes us across the United States, to Haiti, Vietnam, and many stops in between to meet people of inspiration and hope; of warning and example.

The author earned his bachelor’s degree in media communications from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota, and his MBA from California State University in San Marcos, California.  He is a small business owner in Minneapolis where he lives with his wife and two children.

Reviews

In a unique and fascinating way, The Unforced Rhythms of Grace and Gratitude does more than share Mike’s story. It makes us reflect on our own story. It causes us to ask, “Who are the people that have made a difference in my life?” and “What legacy am I creating?” As you read, you will be encouraged, challenged, and given nuggets of “truth and life wisdom.” You will be encouraged by the goodness in people. Encouraged by God’s goodness and grace. Encouraged by the truth that “small acts of kindness can make a big difference.” You will also be challenged to have greater gratitude for how God and others have worked together for your good. You will be challenged to think about your own legacy. Challenged to see where and how God fits into your life. The “life wisdom” that is dripped in throughout this book will encourage you to make better choices with your time, energy, and resources. You will see that perfection is not needed to make a difference. We all have flaws. We just need to reach out and get involved with people who are put on our path. Reading The Unforced Rhythms of Grace and Gratitude is sure to offer you a new, fulfilling, and fruitful perspective on your own life journey.
